ADDA- A place where same group of friends meet regularly for timepass conversations/ drinks and partying/ To plan for something

- The term got popularised by rowdy’s of bangalore in late 90s later movies started showing adda as the place where rowdys assemble. Now it is so common that if one consumes tea in same shop for 10 days it is his adda.

There are other meanings for same word and they are all pronounced same. Ex:
Adda- Width
Adda- Obstacle/ hurdles
Adda- To stop someone

Adda in sentence:
Today we shall meet and discuss in our regular adda.
Ivattu namma addadalli meet agi discuss madona.

Our adda shifted to majestic.
