How to "Learn kannada in 30 Days"??

Day 1: Learn basic things about kannada and get your mind prepared to learn kannada language and make some time in daily schedule to learn kannada.
Basic things to know:
  • Kannada is very easy to write and speak when compared to english or any other western language.
  • Kannada has 49 alphabets(Including 15 Ovels) where English has 26 alphabets(5 Ovels)
  • Kannada is Primary language in indian state karnataka.
  • Kannada rajyothsava state festival will be celebrated on november1 of every year all over karnataka
  • one of the 5 classical languages and one of the oldest language in India
  • Kannada is awarded with highest number of Jnanpith awards In india compared to any other language.
  •  Kannada is 99.99% perfect - logically and scientifically. 

Day 2: Take 10 most used words and get to know their meanings and start using it with your friends.
 10 most used words are
  • Neenu- You
  • Baa- Come
  • Illi- Here
  • Naanu- Me
  • Nanage- For me
  • Nanna- My
  • Hudugi- girl
  • Namaskara- Hello
  • Verymuch-Thumbhaa
  • Jaasthi- More
These above mentioned 10 words are enough to get started with the learning process, as in the beginning its difficult to get familier with the words of new language.

Day 3: Learn Questioning words and start using them
  • What- yenu?
  • How much/many- Eshtu?
  • How- Hege?
  • Where- Elli?
  • When- Yavaga?

So start using the above words to ask anything not only with your friends but try with kannada strangers like shopkeepers, vegetable sellers, milkman etc. In using above words you cant make any mistake so nothing to fear when using above words.

 Day 5: Parts of the body. Get to know what will be said in kannada language for different parts of the body and use one word atleast in one hour of your normal speaking.

      In kannada, there are two voices in common use viz, Active voice and Passive voice.
      • In active voice, the subject will be in Nominative case while the object in Objective case.

      2. Neenu hanavannu kotte
      • In passive voice, the object will be used in Nominative case while the subject in the Instrumental case.
      1. Ramanindha pustakavu odhalpattithu
      2. Ninnindha hanavu kodalpattithu
      Day 26: Download some kannada movies with english sub titles. and try to understand and pronounce every dailogue,watch full movie minimum 5 times, watch more movies for more fluency.

      Day 27: Do you have any kannada speaking friend? with help of him get added to any whatsapp group where people chat in kannada. You should try to read the messages flowing in that whatsapp group and understand the meaning. try to read those kannada jokes, you will also get some joy.
      Day 28: Comment what else you need and wait for my reply.

      Day 29: Get on to facebook, search for kannada speaking people take their help to solve your doubts.
